Intern - Electrical/Electronic Engineer

Essential Responsibilities:
The Advanced Silicon Packaging Development department has anInternship for a motivated Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering Graduatestudent.
As the processing speeds and data transfer rates increase,designing low loss, high speed interconnects for integrated circuits becomeincreasingly important.
Support the Advanced SiliconPackaging and RF group in analyzing interconnects as well as designing newinterconnects in support of proto-type and product development. The position isbased in Malta, New York.
Develop electrical models for interconnects in integratedcircuit laminates
Design transmission lines to meet characteristic impedance,return loss and insertion loss targets
Develop models for RF signal chains (transmission lines,amplifiers, DC blocking capacitors and bias T)
Required Qualifications:
Graduate student in Electrical/Electronic or ComputerEngineering degree program (M.S or PhD)
Knowledge of transmission lines, S parameters and Smithcharts
Course work in Electromagnetics and circuit analysis
Experience with ANSYS High Frequency Structure Simulator(HFSS)
Experience with Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS)
Experience with Simulation Program with Integrated CircuitEmphasis (SPICE)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
