Process Engineer - UPW

Under guidance of more senior engineers, provides advanced engineering and design support primarily in a review or quality assurance capacity. Responsible for developing and maintaining product specifications, design information, and quality assurance documents related to the integrity, cost, and scheduling requirements for department systems and related components.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
B.S. degree in mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering discipline is required from an accredited university or other related qualified training, plus up to three (3) years related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical equations to complex situations.
Ability to read, understand and create specifications as well as general arrangement, fabrication, and erection drawings.
Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
Strong desire to continue to learn and develop technical expertise.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs.
Ability to understand English, at advanced level, via written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in German and French
Analyzes specifications and contract documents to determine characteristics of job and to establish engineering objectives
Reviews all firm (price) proposals and submittals for quality assurance purposes Provides technical assistance to Sales and Product Support, such as determining
customer needs, developing quotations, procuring parts, materials, and labor. Develops and maintains product specifications, design information, and quality
assurance documents related to the integrity, cost, and scheduling requirements
for department systems and related components
Attend meetings with customer representatives as required
Assist in troubleshooting customer system and equipment issues
Performs all work in accordance with established Ovivo and customer sites
safety procedures
Other duties may be assigned as required
To customer, supplier and job sites.
Ability to read and interpret process & instrumentation diagrams, mechanical & structural drawings and specifications are preferred
Knowledge of applicable codes, tables and standard reference books used for design water purification, wastewater treatment facilities and relevant piping, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical equipment used in such designs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
