Intern - OPC Infrastructure Software Development

Summary of Role:
This internship is a software development project in the area of optical proximity correction (OPC) automation, and is located at GLOBALFOUNDRIES' state of the art 300mm wafer fab in Malta, NY. The intern will be tasked with upgrading the existing software and to also provide new functionality as requested by the OPC Development and Infrastructure teams.
Required Qualifications:
Pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or other closely related engineering or physical science discipline
Strong object-oriented programming background with experience in python
Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing a MS or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or other closely related engineering or physical science discipline
Exposure to C , object-oriented TCL, and database management
Familiarity with the fundamentals of physics, optics, and semiconductor processing
An understanding of AGILE software development, and the Scrum AGILE framework

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
