Manufacturing Assembler

Nesco Resource is searching for a Manufacturing Assembler for our client in the Ballston Spa, NY area! This position is a temporary position to start with opportunity to become permanent. This is a First shift position and the hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm plus overtime as needed.




  • Previous assembly experience


  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings


  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and use fingers and hands to use objects, tools or controls.


  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.



Responsibilities:




  • Assembling electronic and mechanical parts.


  • Maintaining a work area clean.


  • Following manufacturing procedures and communicating to the engineer and the supervisor about possible deviations.


  • Executing all quality policies and procedures.


  • Following all safety instructions.


  • Cross training and working dynamically in multiple projects as required by the supervisor.


  • Working overtime if required by the company.


  • Applying special processes during manufacturing: brazing, riveting, torque, crimping, painting and others (get certifications when needed).





Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
