has been voted a Top Workplace for the last 5 years, would you like to join our team? We are looking for a Payroll/Human Resources Specialist to join the Personnel department at our corporate office in Ballston Spa, NY.
Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for over 5,000 employees.
Create and analyze reports in Ultimate payroll software and Excel.
Authorize employee updates including new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, etc.
Research and resolve payroll questions or discrepancies.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Access.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Experience with UKG (Ultimate) software preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
